Hello... I'm Lexie!!!
Hi! I'm Lexie! I'm 13 years old and I'm the oldest of 4 kids! I have the amazing opportunity to travel to a lot of different places with my family! Whenever my family and I travel somewhere we always try to find a temple that we can go see. We have been to the San Diego temple, the Washington DC temple, and the Laie Hawaii temple! We also just recently went to Rome where we were able to visit the new temple site! When we were in Rome we had an incredible experience! We were walking along the street when we saw an big group of LDS missionaries! We stopped and talked to them for a while and they told us about their missions and about all of the wonderful experiences they've had. There were four sister missionaries in the group and as they told me about their missions I got really excited and inspired to go on a mission when I'm old enough! We also had the great opportunity to walk through the Bountiful Utah temple before it was dedicated! This was an amazing experience because I was able to see all of the rooms where they perform sacred ordinances such as marriage, baptisms for the dead, and sealings. Temples are a very big part of my life. I love to visit temples and just walk around the grounds to see the beauty of them. My family has a fun tradition where whenever we're driving in the car and we see a temple we automatically start singing the song "I Love to See the Temple" this is great because it helps me and all of my siblings remember that the temple is a holy place where sacred ordinances are performed. Since I am 13, I am allowed to go to the temple and do baptisms for the dead. I love doing baptisms for the dead because I am able to help someone get back to Heavenly Father who didn't have the chance to on earth. Whenever I do baptisms for the dead I feel the spirit very strongly and I feel so grateful to be a part of this wonderful church! Some of the things I like to do in my free time are ballet, play the guitar, play piano, and sing. As I was signing up for my ballet classes next year I noticed that my main ballet class happened to be every Wednesday at the same exact time as my Young Women's. If I signed up for that class, I would not be able to go to Young Women's for the year. It was a hard decision for me to make because this was the main ballet class that I needed to take. But eventually I made the decision to sign up for a couple different classes so that I would be able to go to Young Women's and excel in my ballet lessons.
