Hello... I'm Josette!

Hi! My name is Josette. I am 13 years old and the oldest of 5 kids. My little sister is going to be baptized in a week and I get to have the opportunity of playing I Am a Child Of God on the ukulele at her baptism! My little sister is super excited to get baptized! Along with ukulele, I also play guitar, violin, and piano. My piano teacher happens to also be Mormon which is nice because I don't have to worry about Sunday piano recitals. Last year, I decided to try doing track and field at my school. Some of my friends thought I was crazy because I hate running. I actually ended up liking it and had a ton of fun doing it even though I wasn't the best runner out there. For my field events I tried hurdles and long jump and really liked those too. I'd just like to say, do not be afraid to try new things. Just this week I tried wake boarding and got up for my first time! I really liked it and want to get even better at it! So always try new things, you might end up liking it! Pretty soon, we get to go to girls camp! I am really excited for that! I am going to be a 2nd year. Our theme is Brave like the movie. I think it's going to be lots of fun! I really like our youth theme this year! Try to make wherever you stand a holy place. It might be hard to do at times. People at my school swear all the time. Sometimes it's hard to ask them to stop. They might stop or they might just swear more. It's your choice to stay or walk away.
